Welcome to Yantacaw School! The Yantacaw Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is an integral part of the school community. Through your membership, volunteering and contributions, Yantacaw PTO is able to provide enrichment programming to enhance your child’s school day beyond the district budget. We welcome your support and any questions throughout the year! 

 

Parent Portal

Beginning Thursday September 3, 2020, the name of your child’s teacher will be available on the Parent Portal at www.fridayparentportal.com/nutley. Your account information was distributed via email registered with the district. If you have not received this information or have any questions, email parentportal@nutleyschools.org. The Parent Portal is the same system that will be used for report cards electronic distribution.

 

Absent

If your child will be absent from school, please call the Yantacaw Absence line 973-320-8311 before 9 AM. 

 

 

Yantacaw PTO Meetings

Yantacaw PTO Meetings are generally held monthly on a Tuesday evening. Meeting dates and times will be posted under the 'Calendar' section of our website. Meetings are 1-2 hours in length.

The first Yantacaw PTO meeting will be held virtually via zoom on September 15th (time TBD). We encourage you to attend to learn more about the Yantacaw PTO, enrichment and fundraising programs and volunteer opportunities. At meeting adjournment, class parent selections will be conducted.

 

 

PTO Registration

For full access, please register and pay the membership dues ($10 per family). Additional donations beyond membership is also welcome! Paying electronically is preferred. Dues are processed through PayPal. Once paid, you will be granted immediate access to the new website and online Yantacaw PTO directory.

Parents/Guardians who become Yantacaw PTO members (by paying dues) will be able to access all features, including the voluntary online directory. You can also access the online directory through the mobile app Membership Toolkit, available for both Apple and Android. Teachers receive FREE membership.

The Yantacaw PTO is “green” and will be sending very little information home in paper flyers, so please make sure to keep up-to-date electronically by adding Yantacaw PTO to your contact list so emails do not end up in Junk mail.

 

 

Class Parents

To volunteer as a Class Parent you must complete the Class Parent form located under the 'Forms' section in Membership Toolkit. Information regarding qualifications and duties will be found on that form. This form is due by Friday, September 11th.
